Luke got a pirate sprinkler for his birthday, and we finally broke it out the other day. We weren't sure if he'd like it, because he usually doesn't like water squrited at him in any way. After we got it set up, he decided he would play in it, but he asked for his rain coat. We let him wear it, and he had a blast eventhough it was 90 degrees outside!!

Here we go.....
Since Emma Cate has started crawling, she really hasn't been exploring. She crawls from toy to toy, but never really leaves the room she's in.......until today. It's like she just realized that she had the power to do anything she wanted. Luke went upstairs to the playroom, and she was ready to try to go up, too. So, we spent some time playing, and I got to take some pictures of the kiddos.

Luke's Music Program
Luke had his final music program last week. Earlier this year, at the first program, he had stage fright. At the second program in February, he did a great job. He sang all of the songs with his class, but he got too scared to go back onto stage for the finale. So, at this program, they rearranged the schedule so that his class went last and never had to leave the stage before the finale. Well, he made it onto stage with his class, but stood there about to cry the whole time. A couple of times, when people were clapping, he cracked a little smile, but he didn't make it for the finale. He burst into tears, and Dale had to go get him.

Finally Crawling
Emma Cate has finally figured out how to get around. She spends most of her time crawling around and looking for specs of stuff on the floor to eat. Who knows what she's ingested in the last two days! Luke thinks it's fun that's she crawling, and he keeps laying down beside her and insisting that I take their picture.

Daddy's Birthday
This post is late, but I wanted to share Luke's excitement about the birthday cake he made for Dale. His main job was putting on the sprinkles and the candles. He was very proud of himself! Happy Birthday Daddy!
